Welcome to the voice area of the University of Alabama School of Music. Our faculty is made up of dedicated, experienced professionals who are committed to each singer’s individual development.

Our students participate in a variety of ensembles, including the flourishing UA Opera Theatre and its training component along with an exciting array of choral opportunities.  In recent years, the School of Music has had numerous nationally and internationally acclaimed artists visit our campus to give concerts and master classes. Some of our renowned guests have included Marilyn Horne, Benita Valente, Tatiana Troyanos, Samuel Ramey, William Warfield, Jerome Hines, Warren Jones, and Marvis Martin.  Additional guests artists and lecturers have included Thomas Bagwell, James Bobick, Kenneth Bozeman, Lynn Helding, Donald Miller, and Natalia Rivera.
